More French cupboard love

This well worn patina is just so gorgeous! I don't know if I can recreate it but I'm sure going to try.

and loving this old desk too

    The cupboard doors are beautiful! I'm in the process of trying to make paint peel... Soaked a pair of shutters in water today, and nothing!? Lol... I'll keep trying and let you know if I ever figure it out:)

    It's strange to think that mankind flees from aging as the plague and then is attracted to things that have a long history and show signs ...
    However, I am sure that your patina will be excellent :-)

    There is just something about those lovely subdued neutrals, left to natures art, thatinexplicably draws the eye in ... I have no doubts that you'll be able to achieve the look your after. Beautiful, beautiful!

    Very Beautiful, Norma.... I have NO experience with the artificial aging processes.... only the real one LOL! A lot of banging and scraping and dirtying would be my guess.....! I'm looking forward to seeing more of this Brocante, it is so lovely thus far!

    Norma, I love that cupboard so much. I especially love that its aged state is in contrast to the chandelier. I have added that site to my favourites. I am now on my way back there to add a comment to all these photos of what I consider the most peaceful chateau I have ever seen. Peaceful because of the starkness of its decor.

    Hi Norma, hope you survived Easter.

    Have you seen this website in the UK, I was cruising round for the meaning of cariad (i knew roughly)and found this site.
    I think I might try and use my crafty skills to make things in miniture but I'm hopeless with scale.
    How long and how wide would a embroidered table runner for A)dining table, breakfast table, coffee table need to be roughly for the size that you do.
