Still up to my ears in boxes - and books...

Thanks to you all for your good wishes re the move.  It went okay but there are still LOTS of unpacked boxes sitting in the garage - not only can I not get to the workbench we can't get the car in!! :)  We arrived in Australia with two suitcases - where did all this other stuff come from???????

Internet was finally connected yesterday so I can begin to catch up on what's been going on out there recently.  Not sure when I'll get to do anything productive in the mini world but at least I feel that I'm 'back in the loop' again which is a good thing.

And I'm back at uni!  A bit of a shock to the system after having the whole of last semester off, which was preceded by the summer vacation, so it's several months since I've had to find the discipline to study.  The time off was beneficial and fun but I fear that my brain has grown a bit of mould ;)

A warm welcome to all the new faces on my Followers list! I have had a look at some of your profiles to look for links to your blogs but on many of them I can't find the link which is a shame so if you have a blog perhaps check your Profile settings to make sure your blog link is featured.

  4. Here I am, my friend.
    Meanwhile, good Sunday :-)
I just took a ride in your page pinterest: fa-vo-lo-so (fabulous)!
The thought of your project will sustain you in the laborious hours of study.
Cheer up also with regard to the various boxes still to unpack...
    Mini hugs, Flora

  8. Hi Norma - glad your move is over :)
I'm late to this post as I'm computerless for an indefinite period (my laptop has died, and Alan's working continually on his). :( I only get borrowed and intermittent access.

Hope the uni studies are going well - at least the travelling is not in the hot season

  9. Welcome back Norma,

glad that everything went well with the moving... it is a LOT of work and too many boxes when you move!
But take your time, it will all work out just fine you'll see ;-)
First you have to get used to your new home now.

  10. How lovely to see that you are back on the air again! Moving is such a massive challenge and so is returning to study after a break - doing both at once is mind-blowing. Good luck with both. Thanks for your text message and I'd LOVE for you to come and visit when Birchwood is finished - the Sydney Fair is too long to wait to see you vbg! I'm sure that mould will soon disappear from the brain but not sure there'll be too much time to play minis for a while! Luv, Sandie

  14. It took me forever to unpack my boxes when I moved a few months ago. And I still have another move in a few months since this house is a "waiting for my house" house!! I think my next move will be exciting and I won't mind packing and unpacking will be a breeze! Sending you that extra bit of energy to get yours unpacked!
    hugs,

  17. Hi Norma! Thanks for stopping by! The chairs! They are card holders from Potterybarn. I got them years ago, but I think I saw them again this season. I never use them for place cards. I love them because they are mini! Haha! Best of luck getting settled!
