The desk is actually a sewing machine table, probably from about 1940s although I'm not really sure. The machine didn't work and has been removed. There is a coat of pink paint under the white which will be revealed when I eventually get around to sanding the edges. This photo has been posted before, I forgot to take a new one showing the gorgeous shabby white mirror I bought for this corner - next time :)
This wardrobe is dark oak, it's only got one coat of paint on it at present. I'm thinking about painting it a pastel colour rather than leaving it white, or decorating it with some stencilling perhaps. (Any volunteers to finish painting the ceiling, etc?)
I bought this pretty little vintage evening bag from a charity secondhand store for about $8, and the vintage handkerchiefs from a flea market in Sydney for just a couple of dollars each. I need to find some more to use as doll house linen...

However best not to tell him that he's unlikely to have it on the return journey ;) Appreciate your suggestion re the moulding between the walls and ceiling but it's already got some paint on it.

Michelle, you are welcome to help anytime!! However, I should tell you that one of my previous 'assistants' almost killed herself! She cut through a wire that she thought was part of the old telephone system but it was a major electricity wire! So I think working for me is a bit risky ;)
Glenda, did you find those vintage hankies? I think it's possible that some of those in the handbag might just turn up "elsewhere" :)
Jody, I'm a bit concerned that you are the second person to comment that it looks so "clean" - like it's kind of a suprise - I'm not too sure how I should take that :) I think I'm going to shabby the furniture a bit tho, what you see as 'clean' I see as a bit too "pristine" :)
Genevieve, I really like them too, the old teddy was my husband's childhood toy, I found the pram at a flea market, I think I paid about $10 for it. It's lined with pretty satiny fabric.
