Up to my ears in paint and fabric!

These are a few of the pieces I'll have for sale at the Sydney minis fair that's coming up soon - a bit too soon for comfort really because I still have LOTS more to do.

I'm sharing a table with Margaret (My Petite Parterre) - we're looking forward to seeing some of you there - please stop by and say hello!

Those of you who live far away don't have to miss out completely - after the fair I'll be offering a few pieces for sale on a sales page I'll set up on my blog so keep an eye out for that.

This fair is a first for me - those of you who have done fairs before will no doubt have learned a few things - I'd really appreciate any tips/advice you'd be prepared to share.

OK, I'd better get back to work!

Your furniture is so beautiful. You will sell it all. Good luck at the fair. So nice that you have to stand there with Margaret. I have no advice, I also started to prepare me for dollhouse festival in Denmark, first wekend in May. I'm really looking forward very much, but I'm tired, that's a lot of work.
Enjoy

Norma, you are also very lucky to spend this day with Margaret.
You are two charming women, you have no need to worry, I'm sure everything will be fine.
And if you ask for advice, all I can say is good sleep 2 or 3 days before the date, if you are rested you will have a clear mind and you can enjoy this beautiful day with serenity.

Good luck! ♥ Léa

Dear Norma, it's exciting to see the beautiful result of much hard work, and me too I am sure that your tables will be certainly among the most visited of the fair.
Meanwhile, a warm hug for me: I will not be able to participate, but with the thought I'll be there :-)
Love,
Flora

I wish you Both, loads of success Norma! It is very different when you are on the other side of the table. One thing that I learned after doing my first show last year, is that people like to be able to pick items up and I had too much sticky tack securing mine to the display unit. Most of the time if an item get picked up it often will get sold faster than if a person just looks without touching. So my tip is to allow for public handling. You'll sell more than if you don't.
Have Fun!!! :))
