Bed time!

This inviting little bed started out looking rather cold and boring...

... amazing what a little paint, fabric, vintage lace and a few hours work can do!

What's hiding, neglected, in your stash that you could transform into something you'll love?

Not only do I like the new color of the painted wood, but I also like the appliquéd designs on the head and footboard. They take this bed from shabby to Chic!
Well done!!! :D

It looks Amazing, Norma! For some reason I am always afraid to paint over a "finished" piece of furniture! I think I need to get some "plain and ordinary" pieces and just practice! Showing the "before" picture is a great help!

Much nicer Norma. Definitely time well spent rooting around in your "bits" box. It's often surprising the stuff we have that we forget about and you've certainly put yours to good use.

There's always great satisfaction when you can turn an ugly duckling into a swan!

I love this transformation. Just shows what a difference a few changes make and how things can look completely different depending on the vision of the creator. Lovely.
