Inspiration galore!

This pic is from one of the Room Seven websites where you'll find the most gorgeous pics of kiddy clothing, bedding and bags to get you/keep you inspired. I found this website thanks to Frederica at 'Frederica's Little World' who has recently posted photos of the cutest kid's stuff, including some little jackets that she's made which she says are inspired by Oilily, a Dutch brand I'd never heard of but I couldn't resist checking it out. Their website is fun but I think the best eye-candy is at Room Seven. The founder of Room Seven is the daughter of the couple who created Oilily.

Now I'm off to do a bit more work on some minis - you think I spend all of my time cruising around cyberspace I know but I've got a couple of projects underway that just aren't 'camera ready' yet ...

Thanks for the info Norma, you really do find good sites. I love that little day bed, maybe I could make that my next soldering project - a bit ambitious perhaps.
Love to see what you've been working on.

Thanks for the post, Norma. I found myself staring quizzically at it for some time, then realized that it is yellow and pink together, which I normally avoid: this works really well, though!

Margaret: I love the bed, there is a non-metal workers way of reproducing it (a la Lea Frissoni) but it'd be great to see it in metal. As for the project(s) all good things come to those who wait ;) - it's all in undeciferable bits at present but at last months and months of planning beginning to come together (I call it planning, others probably prefer to label it procrastination).

Glenda: Personally I wouldn't put these two colours together either, but it is eyecatching and I thought it interesting too because that bed is in the style of Lea Frissoni but the bedding and the wall colour - especially the wall colour! - are totally not her style, a mix of styles is always interesting I think. (And an extra cryptic clue for Margaret - you could say this pic captures the 'essence' of each of the projects now underway ...)

Ingrid and Begona: thanks for your comments :)

Sans: actually I'm working on the early stages of 2 big projects (and should be finishing the 1:16th house first of course!! - it's still roofless!)- this pic combines the essential elements of the two of them - now that I've mentioned them I'll have to post something soon I guess but I'll tease you for a few days more I think...
