This is the 'surprise package' that the winner of my recent giveaway, Jennybee, received: an aged table and cupid with a little set of mini mail as well as the set of doilies.
The mini mail was included for everyone who won the doiley sets (I didn't realise until I saw this photo that I'd forgotten to 'age' the edges of the envelope and postcards!). The tiny photo in the envelope is of my mother as a young girl. She's now becoming a bit famous in the mini world - oh how she would blush at the thought.
A few of you have noticed that I haven't been very active around Blogland for a while - I've got quite a lot of non-mini projects going on at the moment which are taking my time and attention but I hope to see more of what you're all doing soon - as well as get back to doing some mini work myself!
My 'guilty secret' is that the dollhouse for the little girls hasn't progressed beyond what you see on the post of 25 January :( If I don't get busy on that again very soon it'll be lucky to be delivered by NEXT Christmas! I hope I'll be back shortly with some progress to show you :)
And lastly a note to say 'HI' to new Followers, thanks for dropping by!

I adore your mini mail, Norma! I have since I first saw your blog a year ago! :-) Jennifer
I think that is such a cute prize. The mini mail is perfect. Even without the aging! I love that you are making your mother into a celebrity. So sweet!

Hi Norma
I loved the gift, the letters and photo was A lovely surprise, they will be going into my big project the victorian house, do not worry about the time it is taking you I have been working on my victorian house for 2 years and only have 3 rooms done, other things keep getting in the way,
I liked your gifts to the winner very much, Norma. The minimail is wonderful.
My canalhouse is build more then 10 years ago!! and still I did not start to furnish it. That's because my real life kept me very very busy. But it will happen......ever ;)
Hugs, Ilona
I would have never thought the mail needed aging they are awesome! Thank you again soo much Norma. Have a great mini day.
Oh Norma! Your giveaway is gorgeous!
The aged table looks great as does the angle. And I am kind of touched as you added your mom´s picture to your mini mail, it´s wonderful.
I have three houses here, none is ready. Sometimes I prefer to work on the witch´s house, than the cottage again..nothing gets ready. But what fun I have with not-getting-ready! The girls will also be happy to get the house for Christmas :-)))
Hugs, Sandra

Wonderful gifts.

Dear Norma, my home mountain, hut the much-hyped in my blog, has been stalled for many years now, I'm ashamed to say this because a little good will be enough to finish it .. but sometimes life (or should I say the fear of making mistakes, and start over) takes over ... I am sure that even if Christmas, your home for girls will be much appreciated!
the photo of your mom in your mail is delicious!
kisses, Caterina
