I should be working on the dining room or the salon I suppose but I've been collecting inspiration pictures for another project and my fingers are itching ...
I understand from your last posts, that the roofs of Paris are representing more than just a temptation ... We'll see :-) A lot of mini lovely hugs Flora
O ohhh... Exciting!! I know how it feels to get ideas that won´t leave your mind finishing older projects and why resist when you can go with the flow ;0) Looks like our minds are in France these days, year 1937 in my case... Wanna tell more? Hugs Annie
I have that same problem, too. A project that was first in line, but there are others that are screaming for me to work on them... and it's working.... :D Your new build looks fun!
Oh I know it Norma. I think one should follow its creative spirit. All this miniatrure, is based, on being in the mood and have its spirit in it. Maybe one should just reconcile itself with the fact that this hobby work is guided by his mood and desire. Hugs Wyrna
Hello my dear friend Norma, and I was reading your website, I just wanna say I really love it! The overall look of your website is fantastic , as well as the content! Congratulations for your amazing work ! I follow your blog (633)... Hope you'll follow me back.... I wish you Happiness and Joy… And Blessings for the New Year. I wish you the best of everything… That you so well deserve. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro/ Brasil Nelson
This is exactly why I have no completed projects, 5 unfinished projects, and I just started the 6th one. It's how the mind works. Don't resist, let it take you where it wants to go!
But I must admit: I love the work on your French project, it's very beautiful and realistic!
About the metallic wax on my blog, I have 'Treasure pewter', but there's also 'Treasure silver', 'Treasure gold', etc. A more common brand is Rub 'n Buff, also sold for antique restoration.
I know you have CFS as well, and you know that battle too well. I have 2 more options to try, and I have good hopes for both. On the other hand: I'm so ready to at least accept that my life needs to change dramatically, but if I don't wait until september, the financial consequences will be huge. Fingers crossed for both remedies!
Good luck with your projects (decided yet?) and your health, Marit
I'm not sure if I should describe miniatures as a hobby or an obsession, but it's the best escape from the cares of the world that I know - and an opportunity to indulge a love of vintage decor without breaking the bank.

I'm curious to see your new project.
Bye Faby
You've got lots of interesting pics there - however will you choose?
Just let your fingers do the walking, Norma! I suspect they just might be heading for the artist's studio! LOL!

I LOVE the direction you're heading towards! This is incredible stuff. I know yours will be fantabulous! :)
hugs,
Caroline
That's the problem of the creative mind - it races on more quickly than the hands can create. Liking what I see so far..... Carol :)
