"real world" Cottage Kitchen

The old stove is the real heart of the home in the winter, to the right is the bathroom...

Wonderful kitchen! It would look good in miniature too I think...;)
Good luck with you mini-photography. It can be difficult to get the right shot. Lighting is always my biggest problem, so a good daylight bulb is my biggest help whem photographing my mini's. Hope you get it right soon, look forward to seeing your work here.

Hi Josje - I suppose there should be some sort of prize for being not only the first 'follower' but also the first poster! I'll have to think about that :) This is just a very small part of the kitchen, and yes it would make a good mini project.

Thanks so much for your encouragement re the photographs. I'll continue to persevere and have taken note of your advice. I remember reading somewhere too that using a box painted white inside was a good 'mini studio' so I'll try that too but first I have to find a box! LOL

I am so loving your house already, Norma. I was in NZ once and stayed in a farm. It was cosy but yours, is inspiring! If I am to create a country mini, I will use this pic for inspiration.

I'll have a hunt for some more photos of the kitchen for you :) It's quite a big room, this is just one 'corner'.

Do you remember where the farm was where you stayed?
