What a frustrating day! Every photo of the minis that I've 'tried' to take today has not turned out well so maybe time to post some photos of the cottage instead...
What a great substitute this is. What a perfect world to create in. Is this really your home? This is like a dream house. For someone who's not so lucky with the camera, you sure take gorgeous pictures, Norma. I can't wait to see more of your real house and your dollhouses.
This is my 'home', but it's not where I live - that seems a bit confusing doesn't it! This little cottage is in New Zealand and we did live in for a few years but now we can only enjoy it for a few weeks as we live full-time in Sydney. We may return to NZ and set up the cottage as a B&B one of these days but presently it suits us to live in Australia.
I can see that this really is where your heart is - and what an idyllic place it is. The cottage might need repair but it is really cozy and homey Norma. I have certainly enjoyed the tour - thank you for sharing! Looking forward to seeing more next time you visit New Zealand. Hugs, Sandie xx
I'm not sure if I should describe miniatures as a hobby or an obsession, but it's the best escape from the cares of the world that I know - and an opportunity to indulge a love of vintage decor without breaking the bank.

Your cottage is beautiful! And so is the photo!

Thanks and welcome to my blog - great to welcome another 1:16 miniaturist.
